Brighouse Juniors Football Club has held a Summer Ball for the past two years to mark the achievements of the players and as a thank you to parents. There were 300 guests.


Delicious Catering has provided a Hog Roast on both occasions. The first year we held the ball, it was very hard to plan as it was a new event. However, with Jane and her teams help, it was a huge success. The marquees arrived early and were erected by the team. The food was excellent and well received by all the guests. We had Hog Roast, Vegetarian Kebabs, Barbecue Items, Jacket Potatoes and lovely Fresh Salad. It was exceptional, we wasted no time in booking Delicious Catering immediately after the event for the following year and once again Jane and her team surpassed the previous year.

Dear Jane
I feel I must write to thank you for providing the Worth Mark Lodge with such a marvellous meal last evening. Although I thanked you and said that you had done me proud, I still feel it was not enough.

To start with, the soup was of the very highest order, really good, wholesome and tasty. Then you had to endure the delay whilst the haggis was 'piped' in and addressed. Still when it was served everything was piping hot, and to serve the haggis as a separate course was a touch of genius. Of the meat and potato pie, it was 'delicious!'

The scones and cheese just rounded off a memorable meal. Memorable, for all the right reasons.

Thank you once again for making my Burns night so very special and really enriching my year.
